Paper Weekend is a bilingual blog in English and Korean, written by me, Irene. I'm Korean, I work full time, I'm married, and I live in the New York and New Jersey area.
I wanted a place to put the things I usually end up telling friends about: where we traveled, which shows are worth the time, and what day to day life here is really like. Writing it down means I can share it with anyone who's curious.

Why two languages
I speak Korean and English, so I write in both. Most posts appear in each language, though the two versions won't always match word for word. Some posts may exist in only one language.
How I work
- I write about places I've actually been and shows I've actually watched.
- If a post has affiliate links or was sponsored, I say so at the top of the post.
- When details change or I get something wrong, I update the post and note what changed.
